Cancellations with 24 hours notice
I try my best to be flexible for students and families, as I know how hectic and unpredictable life can be! If given 24 hours notice, we will either cancel the session, or work together to schedule a make-up session that week or the following week.
Cancellations day of appointment
The student will be charged 100% with no make-up session.
I understand that things do happen: people get sick, and unexpected conflicts do sometimes arise. That is why each student gets two free passes for no financial penalty as long as they contact me before the session start time.
Vacations
Please be sure to inform me of any vacation plans in advance. We are able to put a pause on your tutoring, to pick up where we left off once you return!
Holidays
Please note that tutoring sessions may be cancelled on Canadian and provincial holidays. We will discuss dates to reschedule as necessary.
No-Show and Late Policy
Students have fifteen minutes to arrive for their scheduled appointment. If they do not arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, they will be considered a ‘No Show’. The teacher is under no obligation to remain longer than 15 minutes if the student has not contacted the teacher to let them know they will be late. Any sessions started late will still finish at regular time.
