30 minute parent consultations are available for grades K-3. These consultations are for:
Consultations are $30. Including preparation time, 1-1.5 hours goes into each consultation. If I have worked with your child, I can suggest specific, concrete strategies and games to work on to boost their competencies. I can also address general questions about the B.C. curriculum in K-3. Advice offered is my personal opinion based off my experiences teaching these grades.
Included in tutoring packages:
For once a week tutoring, I will email a consultation after 3-4 sessions. For tutoring packages of 2+ sessions a week, after the initial consultation 3-4 sessions in, I will continue to email parents every month with a progress report and any suggestions for support at home. Parents can contact me if they prefer this check-in via Zoom. Please note that the complementary consultation is about your child (their progress and areas for improvement) and does not include B.C. curriculum consultation.

- providing feedback on your home school program and monthly goals.
- Is it age-appropriate?
- Is it in line with B.C. curricular competencies?
- Does the structure and scope make sense?
- suggesting activities, reading or writing strategies
- providing specific feedback on home practice and addressing specific questions about how to best support your child.
